The Villages of Christ is an Internet-based ministry having the primary purpose of promoting a concept for a Christian Community and Christian Villages, while delivering Christ's Message of salvation with a new urgency fitting the period of time in which we now live.   This Ministry is primarily interested in awakening Christians who have heard the Message, but live out their lives in a secular world without experiencing true Christian community.

As the flood waters of secularism and immorality rise around Christians, the work of Christian evangelization and Christian charity will become more and more difficult and dangerous, in every sense of the word.   One doesn't try to save a drowning person by jumping into the torrent with them when dry land is nearby along with the support of others.   Communities such as that proposed by the Villages of Christ offer the safety of a Christian environment - dry land - from which to reach out to others.   Also, it is just a matter of time when Christians will be forced to join communities to protect their families from persecution.

Since the call of Christ to unity and to evangelize are one, this Ministry also promotes unity within the Body of Christ.   It is a pro-life organization in every respect.

Evangelization through Christian charity, enabled by Christian community.   Christian charity (the love of God above all things and the love of neighbor as oneself) is the medium for this Ministry's evangelization.   Bringing all to Spirit Reliance is the primary objective.
